Work started the Run Across Haiti® to show that Haiti is not a place to be feared or to be pitied and to raise funds for our work in ending poverty in Menelas through dignified jobs. Jessica Wayashe, a runner and friend through YB Connected, was one of the veritable vikings set sail to accomplish this incredibly difficult feat.
We worked with her to produce this piece to get the word out about her work and help her raise the funds she needed. We are happy to report she not only met her goals but completed the run as well!
