A Spotlight on Mollie Elkman & The House That She Built Book
In honor of the 10-year anniversary of International Day of the Girl, we want to spotlight our friend Mollie Elkman and The House That She Built.
The House That She Built is a best-selling children’s novel about the very first all-female team to build a new construction home in Utah. It educates young girls about the skills that go into building a new home and promotes the inclusion of women in trades. Written by Mollie and illustrated by Georgia Castellano from GroupTwo Advertising, The House That She Built has taken the construction industry by storm.
In order to initially promote the book, Mollie needed branded video content to share online. She reached out to us and used our green screen studio to film a few direct-to-camera addresses. Together we worked with her to edit them into this promotional video.
We’re grateful that we were able to help play a role in expanding Mollie’s impact. In telling this story, she has created a movement that shows girls they can have a successful career in any field they want.
Thank you Mollie for inspiring girls to be anything they choose to be! Dream it. Be it. Build it.
